Experior Financial Group is thrilled to announce Ohm Patel’s promotion to Executive Director and Shareholder Qualifier. His dedication to his career and remarkable growth as an independent insurance agent have been pivotal in reaching this milestone.
Ohm has been a committed member of Experior Financial Group for 4 years. In collaboration with his team, Goal Achievers, they have helped 138 families to make informed financial decisions. We celebrate Ohm’s outstanding achievements and extend our warmest congratulations. With his unwavering determination and dedication, we have no doubt that even greater success lies ahead on his Experior journey.
We asked Ohm Patel to tell us a bit about his journey and how it feels to have achieved this milestone, and he said,
“I am incredibly excited and humbled to share that I have been promoted to Executive Director. This milestone means so much to me, not just as a professional achievement, but as a personal journey of growth, learning, and resilience.
My journey with Experior began in October 2021 in Canada. At that time, I was a full-time Software Engineering student working on completing my bachelor’s degree, and I joined the business part-time. I was inspired to join Experior after seeing the hard work and success of my dad, Rakesh Patel. I realized it could be an amazing learning experience and a chance to understand how to manage my own finances better and help others do the same. I had never been taught financial skills in school, so stepping into this industry was a new and eye-opening experience.
Early on, I skyrocketed to Senior Manager, but as my university workload increased, my progress slowed. I had to prioritize school and other commitments, which temporarily shifted my focus away from the business.
In June, I graduated from university and began searching for a job in software engineering, but with the job market being especially challenging, it was tough to find opportunities in my field. I decided to shift my focus to Experior full-time. Within just four months, I was able to learn the business, master the system, and grow as a leader thanks to the guidance and mentorship I received. I am especially grateful to my dad, Executive Director Rakesh Patel, for being my biggest inspiration and mentor throughout this journey.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to other incredible mentors in Team Goal Achievers who have been there for me whenever I needed guidance: Bhavesh Patel, Hitendra Patel, Aditya Patel, TJ Patel, and Amit Patel. Each of them has played a significant role in shaping my growth.
I am deeply thankful to the FML leaders and to Jamie and Lee-Ann Prickett for creating something truly special here at Experior. Without Experior, I may never have ventured into the financial services industry or realized the massive opportunity this business provides to build a career but also make a real difference in the lives of others.
This promotion is just the beginning of the next chapter of my journey. I am excited to help more families secure their financial futures, guide my team to new heights, and continue to grow as a leader within Experior. Here is to an exciting future ahead!”
Our newest Executive Director was asked if he had any advice or words of encouragement for new financial service Associates with Experior. Ohm said,
“My biggest piece of advice is to commit for the long run. This is not just a job; it is truly a business. In my first two to three years, I was not able to make much progress because I was focused on school and other commitments. However, I always knew I would return to this business because I understood the value it offered. I had seen the success Experior created in so many people’s lives, and that was all the proof I needed to know this was a special opportunity worth staying connected to.
The most important thing is to stay consistent, trust the process, and keep moving forward one step at a time. If you do that, you will eventually reach your goals and build something significant.”
